About me
I was born in Tehran in 1977 and grew up there. Painting and drawing has accompanied me since my early childhood. I realized my dream to study art after my first university degree (Physics / Tehran) in Germany. I studied art and art education at the University of Osnabrück. As part of my studies, I gained my first experience with art therapy and the implementation of pedagogical-therapeutic art projects. After my studies I worked as a freelance artist and participated in many exhibitions in Germany and abroad. When I met my husband, a doctor and oncologist, who thought a lot of creative therapies, I began to conceive and carry out art projects for people suffering from cancer and their relatives in the context of outpatient and inpatient stays in oncological clinics and practices. Through a one-year intensive training as an art and creative therapist, I deepened and broadened my knowledge and experience in the field of art therapy. In addition, I have successfully completed the training as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy according to the Heilpraktikergesetz. I regularly reflect on my art therapeutic work in supervision and participate in further education and congresses.
